Purchases and authority
You must be able to enter a binding purchase where you live, or have a parent or guardian make the purchase for you. Prices and included content are shown before checkout. Browser Edition payments are processed through Stripe Managed Payments; Windows payments are processed separately through itch.io.
Your game license
A completed purchase grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play the edition you purchased. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly host, reverse engineer except where applicable law expressly permits it, or use the game or its assets to create a competing product.
The free Act I demo is provided for personal evaluation. It does not grant ownership of the full game or either paid edition.
Browser and Windows are separate editions
The Browser Edition sold on measuredarcgames.com and the Windows edition sold on itch.io are separate purchases and licenses. Buying one does not unlock the other. Demo progress does not transfer to a paid edition, and progress does not sync between editions, browsers, or devices.
Accounts and local saves
A Measured Arc Games account records access to the Browser Edition. Keep your login information private and contact us if you believe your account is being misused. You may not share, sell, or transfer an account or use automated means to create accounts or access protected game files.
Your account does not currently store game progress. Browser saves remain on the device and browser where you played. You are responsible for avoiding private browsing or clearing site storage if you want that local progress to remain available.
Availability and updates
We may update the game or website to fix problems, improve compatibility, protect the service, or adjust features. Online services occasionally require maintenance or may be interrupted by circumstances outside our control. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve paid access, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability on every browser, device, or future operating-system version.
Fair use of the service
Do not probe or bypass access controls, interfere with other users, overload the service, upload malicious material, impersonate someone else, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law. We may restrict access needed to protect users or the service. If possible, we will provide a way to resolve mistakes.
Refunds and transaction help
Refund requests are handled under the applicable storefront process and our refund policy. A full refund ends the license for the refunded edition. Browser and Windows transactions must be handled separately.
Ownership and feedback
Measured Arc Games and its licensors retain ownership of the games, code, artwork, audio, names, and other protected material. If you voluntarily send suggestions, you allow us to consider and use them without an obligation to adopt or pay for them.
Responsibility
The games and services are provided as available. To the extent allowed by applicable law, Measured Arc Games is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of locally stored game progress. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
